Most of the pieces in this portfolio were created while I was working toward my Associate’s degree, where I learned foundational techniques, explored different mediums, and pushed myself through structured projects and critiques. Along the way, I also grew through late-night experimentation, personal ideas, and moments where creativity didn’t require it to be an assignment or expectation, and I made art outside of the studio, on my own time. I wanted to include both sides of that journey here- the assignments that helped me learn and the pieces that helped me express myself. Together, they reflect where I’ve been, what I’ve learned, and the artist I’m becoming, not just inside the studio but outside of it as well.
